Bellator XLVIII is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by Bellator Fighting Championships. The event is scheduled to take place on August 20, 2011 at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut. The card is expected be a part of Bellator's inaugural Summer Series and will feature final round fights in the Summer Series Tournament. The event will be distributed live in prime time by MTV2.
