Dynamite!! 2010 is an upcoming mixed martial arts and kickboxing event and the latest in the annual New Year's Eve event promoted by Fighting and Entertainment Group that is scheduled to take place on December 31, 2010 at the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The event is expected to include bouts that encompass the DREAM, K-1 and K-1 World MAX banners. The event will air on HDNet in North America.

Background
FEG president Tanikawa has stated that the company plans on holding an event together with Sengoku Raiden Championship and this event may have a similar DREAM vs SRC format as Dynamite!! 2009. However, this will not be happening now as SRC will be holding its own event, World Victory Road Presents: Soul of Fight.
Tanikawa has also stated that this Dynamite!! event will most likely be shortened (to around three hours) and the annual K-1 Koshien tournament will not take place at this event.
The title fight between Bibiano Fernandes and Hiroyuki Takaya will be the last in the 63 kg. (139 lbs) weight class before it gets broken into the standard MMA bantamweight and featherweight divisions. DREAM plans on holding a Grand Prix in whichever of the two weight classes the champion (Bibiano or Takaya) does not decide to fight in.
The Aoki/Nagashima fight was first annouced that there would be an alternate of four rounds, with one round under MMA rules and the next round, then they will change gloves and, fight under kickboxing rules. A coin toss will determine what rules they start under. However, it has since been announced that the fight will feature one three-minute kickboxing round, followed by a standard five-minute MMA round. The fighters will use open-fingered gloves throughout. If no winner is decided in the eight minutes of competition, the fight will be declared an automatic draw.
The Sapp/Suzukawa super-heavyweight “IGF rules” bout will feature a rule set similar to modern MMA, but the fighters will not wear gloves. Closed-fist strikes are forbidden, though palm strikes are legal.
Melvin Manhoef is slated to compete at this event. His opponent is not confirmed.

i thought fedor was fighting at dynamite this year...  hopefully the reem will get a fight against someone... and mousasi doing k1 rules... i know he is good but mma is better...

bump! i would also rather see mousasi at MMA rules,
Alistairs twitter says: "I will stay in Tokyo and I'm hoping to fight at Dynamite so I will stay here." - They'll find some poor soul to donate his face - how about that judo guy that beat minowa last dream? - i think Dream really wants him to have a belt so he'll be the UBERCHAMP in both the FEG organisations they wanna/can make huge dollar in Japan with him - which they desperately need.
- now i've just heard todd duffee is in the talks... better than nothing... uberknee and its good night irene

ive heard overeem vs duffee is confirmed... that will be a good one but ultimately another overeem destruction...  and yeah i would prefer to see mousasi fight in mma... he pulls off some awesome shit... i have a feeling he could do well in this k1 rules match but its a bit of a risk i reckon... he lost so much momentum and hype after that loss to king mo (who i reckon he should have beaten)... =\ he needs to be getting back in the cage and fighting as often as possible... get back to the amazing wins he was having for years...

Yeah, Overeem vs. Duffee is confirmed and I'm going with Duffee.
I think Overeem underestimates him. Duffee will get lucky and put a huge smile on Dana's face.

Your going with Duffee? I think Duffee can not stand with Overeem ... and what's he gonna do? take him down and pound him out? if Duffee doesn't knock down Overeem in the first exchange then he's toast. ... plus its mma with the double-clinch uberknee... and Overeem chilles in Japan = no jetlag or anthing and some chillaxed time to do some mma... duffee arrived like when? after christmas? ... ... he's going to sleep ... propably bad cause he's one to go forward and overeem might counter him and get him nicely...
