Hi My upload is slow and it's stop when I completed my download. Note: with public torrent site, everything works with VPN and MMA-torrent works only without VPN! I would like to participate more in the sharing of my download in MMA-Torrent. I use Windows 11 (Windows 10 was doing the same thing) uTorrent 3.5.5 (also try 2.2.1) sometimes I can see a very few client that are not 100%, but nothing get upload. VPN private internet access with OpenVPN on DD-WRT Please give me some ideas as how to correct that problem. Thanks in advance |

Hello, Have you tried contacting your VPN provider to see if it is something on their side? I know others use VPN successfully so it feels like it should be an issue with the VPN service you use or your connection in general, ISP etc. It's very hard to diagnose from our side Im afraid. I hope you can find a solution, and if you do let us know! |

For those with the same problem. You need to use the windows or mac PIA program, not DD-WRT. In this program you go to setting, network and fill the "Request Port Forwarding" box. You start the VPN, below you new ip you will have the Port number open. Put this port on your torrent software and on you DD-WRT/router. For DD-WRT, go to NAT / QoS, Port Forwarding and add it Add, your torrent app, both, empty, port from(the new port on PIA), the ip of your computer in your network, port to (same port number), enable. You will have to change the port number everytime your restart your VPN software Good success !!! |
