How to start seeding after upload torrent (adding passkey) Some people get to the stage that they upload a torrent but doesnt manage to start seeding so me and a friend made this little tutorial. Its quick so use pause if its too fast 
After you have created the .torrent file and uploaded it to the tracker you must add the passkey in order to start seeding. This tutorial will explain how it works in an easy to understand way.
We suppose you have already created the .torrentfile when you are at this stage.

Hi,
I'm having trouble uploading a torrent as the adding passkey part is not working.
I was using Transmission (i'm on a mac) and switched to utorrent.
When i try to download the torrent after uploading it i get no message asking me if i want to add the passkey to it. The only message i get is something along the line of "The torrent you are trying to add is already in the list of torrents. Do you want to load the trackers from it?". Then nothing happen, it is donwloading at 0 ks. I'm using a dento seedbox btw.

Hello,
Just to clear things out, you are uploading from home, not the seedbox I suppose as you said you are on a Mac.
As far as I understand you are using utorrent for Mac to create the torrent, and after uploading you intend to continue seeding it from the seedbox.
If you create and upload the torrent from your home computer and you have the files on the seedbox already you can add the .torrentfile to the seedbox and continue seeding from it. But you cant seed from both home and seedbox. And you cant make an upload from home and then try to download the torrent to your seedbox beause then you are downloading from yourself. To do this you would need two different account (passkeys).
The recommendable is to upload files to your seedbox via ftp and then create the .torrent on the dentoo seedbox as they support create torrent. Then make the .torrent upload to the tracker from home as always but add the .torrent to your seedbox so it seeds from there.
