Sheesh, what an utter, utter twonk. Sadly everything he does be it good or bad is what brings in the money. UFC knows it also and gives him a leash that could wrap around the world... I just hope to God that he takes up the Khabib fight at some stage, but I feel he's too savvy and knows it would dent his position. Looking forward to the law suits though

I see him getting badly beaten down by Khabib. Granted, Conor could catch him coming in and what a result that would be to KO the feared and undefeated Russian but I don't think it's going to happen. I think Khabib takes him down with ease. Thoughts? |

Exactly MMA. My thoughts exactly. Just look at the Chad Mendes fight. Everyone said Mendes was going to destroy McGregor. Nope. Went in the totally opposite manner. I honestly can't stand Khabib fights, they are the most boring fights in the world to me. Hey, lets go against the cage for 5 mins and let me push against you while I hit you. I seen it before. Show me something new. So has Conor. Also, Khabib's coach has even stated they know they cannot win in the stand-up versus Conor, so they are going for takedowns the whole fight. If he misses 99 takedowns, he will go for 100. Khabib is literally not going to fight standing up. So Conor's camp knows this and is training for it, just waiting for his level changes, to catch him coming in. Just like they did Aldo, with Aldo's big right. I honestly just do not think Khabib's chin can stand up to that left. No one's chin really can. Only Nate Diaz, but that dude is a Zombie and so brain damaged already, nothing really affects him, lmao.

I respect what Conor has done. I am also a fan but this is such a bad matchup. Khabib should really be fighting at 170 too. I think he will take him down with ease... Chad Mendes took him down quite easily too up until he gassed out. |

Khabib's success reminds me of GSP in the way he nullifies opponents with his ground game. Just like GSP you can complain that its "boring" or whatever, but you can't help to respect them for what they have been able to do. Personally I like groundgame just as much as standup. Whatever it takes to win... I have no clue who is going to win this fight lol. Khabib is a monster. And he is on a winning strike. McGregor is a madman with a sharp axe. We don't know what McGregor is going to show up. But I am pretty sure hes going to give his all. Whatever happens, we will be watching
