An evening in early 2008 a dude said to his friend: "Hey *****, did you know that MMA is the fastest growing sport in the world?". What he just said lit a light above their heads like in the cartoons. An idea! These guys where hardcore MMA fans and martial art practitioners since over a decade and had watched and saved every event and episode of whatever MMA related they could find and had a big collection already. After many frustrating nights trying to find the latest MMA event not broadcast anywhere they could watch it, searching the web like fanatics until they found it somewhere, sometimes having to order some DVD that took ages to arrive and was super expensive just to watch an event that happened months ago, tired of not being able to be up to date with the fights and often watching them with a massive delay, the guys started drawing plans for a web site where they and others could collect all the MMA related stuff available and share it with each other and friends. A global community for MMA fans focused on the events that where broadcast but hard to watch if you lived in the "wrong" place, or if your cable provider decided to suddenly cancel UFC or anything similar. A place to call home for MMA fans from all over the world!

Because back then the popularity of torrent trackers was growing fast, as well as the popularity of MMA, making it a torrent based community seemed logical. So in the beginning of May 2008 they started building the site, and 5 months later, October 2008, it was ready to be opened. They where just a few dedicated staff members decided to create something that all MMA fans all over the world could potentially use and love, and their surprise was higher then their most positive expectations when almost immediately people started to sign up since day one. This was of course very gratifying. The site had over 100 users registered after only a few days, and more kept on coming every day.

Many of the new members where so eager to help that everything grew very fast. The site would not be what it is today without the hundreds or maybe thousands of hours invested by these members with absolutely no other payment then the happy fellow members comments and of course to see the community work as it should and grow. Uploads kept on coming, the forum was busy and the members where in general very positive about the community.

To know that MMA fans all over the world would be able to feel the same happiness as they felt watching the events was enough for these fantastic uploaders, members, moderators and admins to spend countless hours making coding, guides, uploads, support, descriptions, competitions, themes, banners, site art and a million other things, and that is what made all this possible!
