Its time to crown the winners of the Strikeforce Evolution competition!!

A mixture of Strikeforce changin the card around all the time until last minute and the forum moderators not being up to date made this a weird competition to count.

Some fights where cancelled, other where made and opponents where changed firskly until last moment.

Finally we have ended up with 6 fights that where same as our original competition fightcard.

Those where:

- Scott Smith def. Cung Le by TKO (Referee stoppage due to strikes) at 3:25in R3.
- Gilbert Melendez def. Josh Thomson by unanimous decision (judges scores read 49-47, 49-46, 49-46).
- Ronaldo “Jacare” Souza def. Matt Lindland by submission (due to an arm triangle) at 4:16 of R1.
- Muhammed “King” Mo Lawal def. Mike Whitehead by KO at 3:08 of R1.
- Antwain Britt def. Scott Lighty by TKO (Doctor’s stoppage) at 5:00 of R1.
- Alex Crispim def. A.J. Fonseca by unanimous decision (30-27 on all three scorecards.)

Because of the few fights we have lowered the prices slighly in proportion.

Prizes are now as follows

6 correct picks = 20 GB

5 correct picks = 10 GB

4 correct picks = 5 GB

And the lucky winners are:

I would have had 5 right if Cung didn't get caught in the end... but I was jumping and screaming when Scott Smith TKO'd Cung Le. A real adrenaline rush... you could se people cageside doing the exact same thing haha. It's almost becoming his trademark way to win fights. I love how similar this fight is to his fight with Radach. Both ending in the third round with a feign punch combination after trailing on the score cards.

lol... and Wiki says Radach knockout was at 3:24 rnd3 and Cung Le knockout was at 3:25 rnd3... that is just awesome.

What a great event. Thompson vs Melendez II is my vote for fight of the year.

Wow! Thats what I call a consistant fighter lol, cool detail

I also like Scott a lot hehe, hes that guy that you cant get rid of whatever you do, I mean a lot of fighters would have lost their confidence by those incredible kicks that threw him over half the cage, but he just kept coming, and thats why we love him :mrgreen:
