Authentic Muay Thai has come to UFC FIGHT PASS. Streaming live from Thailand, the Bangkok Nights season will showcase four live cards from the Fight Sports Asia organization. “We are continuing to expand Fight Pass’s offering to combat sports fans,” said David Shaw, UFC Senior Vice President of International and Content. “The reaction to Fight Pass’s recent US-based Thai boxing events was very encouraging, and we are excited to now showcase a season of Muay Thai action from the very place the sport originated.” “Fight Pass hasn’t presented anything quite like this before,” added Ant Evans, UFC FIGHT PASS’s Senior Director of Editorial & Content Acquisition. “Thai fighting has been a way of life in Bangkok for centuries – and the style there is for fighters to exchange strikes in a war of attrition until something gives. We believe that attack-minded style, along with the traditional Bangkok stadium setting, is going to really entertain our international audience of hardcore fight fans.” This Friday’s four-fight card is headlined by local sensation and dual champion Khundiew Payubkampan taking on No.1 contender Morradokpetch Muayded in one of the most anticipated showdowns in Bangkok. The pair are fighting for 1million Thai baht cash prize (approximately $35,000). Three other cash-prizes and divisional championships will be on the line during a card which will serve as a crash-course in the blistering style of authentic Muay Thai.
