BKFC Ice Wars 2: River Cree Rumble is an upcoming bare-knuckle fighting event to be held by Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship on June 28, 2025, at the River Cree Casino & Resort in Enoch, Alberta, Canada. Fight Card Main Card Fighters Bryan Gowin Steven Wolftail Brendin Currie Nicky Henrichs Derek Freeman James Dalzell AJ Schlepp Cole Johnson Colten Hayes Jorden Christie Will Laporte Corey Allen No official fight card available yet Background A thrilling new fighting league that pits the world’s toughest combat fighters against each other on a sheet of ice. It’s the best of Combat Sports and Ice Hockey all in one. Comprised of Former Hockey Enforcers and Current Combat Fighters in top fighting condition. Fighters square off in “The Ice Box” – a 900 sq. ft. ice fighting surface specifically made for BKFC Ice Wars. Four ounce MMA gloves are worn, fighters are wearing traditional hockey jerseys and equipment. All fighters shall wear appropriate hockey attire which includes helmet (no visor), chin strap, shoulder pads, hockey jersey, hockey pants, shin guards, and skates. The helmets and chin straps will be provided by the promotion. Each bout shall be at least three (3) rounds with a maximum of five (5) rounds. Each round shall be no more than ninety (90) seconds in length, with one (1) minute rest periods between rounds. BKFC Ice Wars is expected to launch with at least six events in 2025 and then expand to as many as 24 events in 2026. |
