The winner of that showdown will receive the prestigious Grand Prix silver belt and a shot at ONE Flyweight Muay Thai World Champion Rodtang Jitmuangnon‘s gold.
Both men scored electrifying knockouts in their respective semifinal bouts at ONE on Prime Video 1 this past August, which set them up for another chapter in their storied rivalry.
The Thai warriors have faced each other in seven thrilling contests, with Superlek winning their most recent meeting in July 2020 via unanimous decision.
Before Superlek and Panpayak go to war, #2-ranked featherweight contender Kim Jae Woong welcomes promotional newcomer Shamil Gasanov to the Circle in a classic striker versus grappler matchup.
After falling to current featherweight king Tang Kai in his last outing this past March, “The Fighting God” hopes to bounce back in a major way, and a victory over the undefeated Russian debutant could go a long way in helping him secure a rematch with the reigning ONE Featherweight World Champion.
