Background
Scheduled for September 18, in the capital of São Paulo, the 111th edition of Jungle Fight will mark the 19th anniversary of the biggest MMA event in Latin America.
In the main event, Caique "Striker" from Bahia and Bruno "Guerra" from Ceará will fight for the vacant featherweight belt.
The title became vacant because the champion at the time, Julio Pereira, decided to go down in category to compete for the roosters title.
Bahian from the capital, Caique "Striker" lives up to his nickname. Of his 12 wins, five were by knockout. And even his defeats, like the most recent one, to Julio Pereira, were based on a bloody battle.
Cearense de Tauá, Bruno "Guerra" won all five fights he fought as a professional, all by fast track. His longest performance lasted just eight minutes.
“Caíque is yet another proof that in the jungle a fighter has to put on a show, fight to win, regardless of the result. Bruno showed a lot of quality in his last fight. It has everything to be a great show for the audience", projects Wallid Ismail.
