Polaris Squads 3: Team UK/Ireland vs. Team USA is a grappling event to take place on August 7, 2021 at the Community Church Central Hall in Southampton, England, United Kingdom. Fight Card Superfight (UFC Fight Pass) Frederic Vosgrone (UK) vs. Kyle Boehm (USA) Preliminary Matches (UFC Fight Pass) Jack Sear vs. Ciaran Brohan Walli Abdullah vs. Ollie Bates Libby Genge vs. Bryony Tyrell Squads (UFC Fight Pass) Team UK / Ireland Darragh O'Conaill Ross Nicholls Daniel Strauss Jed Hue Bradley Hill Tom Halpin Kieran Davern Ben Dyson Team USA Mike Perez Roberto Jimenez Richie Martinez Nick Ronan PJ Barch William Tackett Geo Martinez Adam Benayoun Background This event will see a return to the competition being contested without the use of a gi, and will also be the first time that Team USA will appear, competing against Team UK & Ireland.[30] Darragh O'Connail will return to serve as captain for Team UK & Ireland, while Geo and Richie Martinez will be taking up positions as Co-Captains for Team USA.[31] This event will also be the first of the Polaris Squads events to feature preliminary matches as well as a superfight, with the running order as follows: |
