ONE on TNT 4: La Nsang vs. de Ridder 2 will be a Combat sport event to be broadcast by ONE Championship on April 28, 2021 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore. Fight Card Main Card (TNT) Light Heavyweight 102 kg Myanmar Aung La Nsang (c) vs. Netherlands Reinier de Ridder Light Heavyweight Championship Lightweight 77 kg United States Eddie Alvarez vs. South Korea Ok Rae Yoon Heavyweight 120 kg Senegal Oumar Kane vs. Belarus Kirill Grishenko Preliminary Card Lightweight 77 kg Japan Shinya Aoki vs. Philippines Eduard Folayang Womens Strawweight 56.7 kg United States Jackie Buntan vs. Belarus Ekaterina Vandaryeva Muay Thai Womens Catchweight 60.6 kg Australia Courtney Martin vs. United States Colbey Northcutt Background The event will be headlined by a trilogy bout between the ONE Light Heavyweight Champion Aung La Nsang and the former ONE Middleweight title challenger Vitaly Bigdash. Bigdash later withdrew due to a failed COVID-19 test, and was replaced by Reinier de Ridder. The co-main event will feature a bantamweight bout between UFC veteran John Lineker and former Brave Combat Federation Bantamweight Champion Stephen Loman was later added to the card. The fight was later replaced by a lightweight bout between Eduard Folayang and Yoshihiro Akiyama. However, Akiyama pulled out from the card due to injuries sustained in training camp, and Folayang was rescheduled to fight Shinya Aoki. The opening bout of the main card was scheduled to feature a lightweight clash between the former ONE Lightweight Champion Shinya Aoki and the former UFC Lightweight Sage Northcutt. Northcutt later withdrew due to lingering COVID-19 issues, and was replaced by Eduard Folayang. Two MMA bouts will be featured on the preliminary part of the card: Sovannahry Em will fight Colbey Northcutt at women's flyweight, while Lowen Tynanes will face Pieter Buist at lightweight. A flyweight Muay Thai match between Jonathan Haggerty and Elias Mahmoudi is scheduled for the prelims as well. Sovannahry Em later withdrew as she sustained an injury during a pre-bout training session, and was replaced by Courtney Martin. ONE CEO Chatri Sityodtong revealed that the former UFC Lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez will face the winner of Marat Gafurov or Ok Rae-yoon. He further announced that Martin Nguyen would face Kim Jae Woong at this event. As Ok Rae Yoon won his fight Gafurov, he was scheduled to fight Alvarez. A muay thai bout between Jackie Buntan and Ekaterina Vandaryeva, as well as a heavyweight mixed martial arts bout between Oumar Kane and Kirill Grishenko were later added to the card. |
