LFA 82: Polizzi vs. Pogues is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to take place on February 21, 2020 at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel in Prior Lake, Minnesota, United States. Fight Card Main Card (UFC Fight Pass) Alex Polizzi vs. Jamal Pogues 205 lbs Vacant Light Heavyweight Championship Nate Togbah vs. Jake Childers 145 lbs Pauline Macias vs. Dana Grau 115 lbs J.P. Saint Louis vs. Korey Kuppe 170 lbs Sean Stebbins vs. Nate Smith 125 lbs Tyler Mathison vs. Cain Lugar 145 lbs Angel Pacheco vs. Felipe Martinez Donis 145 lbs Thomas Petersen vs. Brian Peterson 265 lbs Background Polizzi debuts in LFA at 5-0 with all of the fights coming by the way of finishes. His last fight was at Final Fight Championship 40 in September where he won by first round knockout. Polizzi looks to make a statement against Pogues who is a Contender Series vet. Pogues comes into LFA 82 at 7-2 with a unanimous decision win on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series last year. It was not enough to get him a contract to the big show yet. Pogues is on a three fight win streak and looks to get himself back in front of UFC president, Dana White’s eyes. |
