Fight card Main Card (Fox) Middleweight Ronaldo Souza vs. Derek Brunson Featherweight Dennis Bermudez vs. Andre Fili Lightweight Jordan Rinaldi vs. Gregor Gillespie Welterweight Drew Dober vs. Frank Camacho Preliminary Card (Fox Sports 1) Lightweight Bobby Green vs. Erik Koch Featherweight Mirsad Bektić vs. Godofredo Pepey Women's Flyweight Katlyn Chookagian vs. Mara Romero Borella Women's Strawweight Randa Markos vs. Juliana Lima Women's Flyweight Justine Kish vs. Ji Yeon Kim Lightweight Vinc Pichel vs. Joaquim Silva Preliminary Card (UFC Fight Pass) Welterweight Niko Price vs. George Sullivan Featherweight Austin Arnett vs. Cory Sandhagen Background The event will mark the promotion's fourth visit to Charlotte, and first since UFC Fight Night: Florian vs. Gomi in March 2010. A middleweight rematch between former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion Ronaldo Souza and Derek Brunson is expected to serve as the event headliner. The pairing met previously in August of 2012 under the Strikeforce banner with Souza winning the fight via knockout in the first round. Ilir Latifi was expected to face former interim UFC Light Heavyweight Championship challenger Ovince Saint Preux at the event. However on January 16, Latifi pulled out due to injury and the bout was scrapped. The pairing was then rescheduled for UFC on Fox 28. Jan 23 - Updated fight card & background |
