ProElite: Big Guns is an upcoming mixed martial arts event to be held by ProElite. It is set to take on November 5, 2011 at the i wireless Center in Moline, Illinois. Fight Card Main Card Heavyweight bout: United States Tim Sylvia vs. Germany Andreas Kraniotakes Heavyweight bout: Belarus Andrei Arlovski vs. United States Travis Fulton Heavyweight Tournament Quarterfinal: United States Mark Ellis vs. United States Ryan Martinez Heavyweight Tournament Quarterfinal: United States Justin Frazier vs. United States Jason Bosler Heavyweight Tournament Quarterfinal: United States Jake Heun vs. United States Ed Carpenter Heavyweight Tournament Quarterfinal: United States Richard Odoms vs. United States Rocky Overstreet Welterweight bout: United States Reagan Penn vs. United States Evan Cutts Lightweight bout: United States Waylon Lowe vs. United States Floyd Hodges Preliminary Card Heavyweight Tournament Reserves bout: United States Todd Monaghan vs. United States Richard McCraw Background An eight-man heavyweight tournament will commence its opening round at this event, however it's unknown what position the tournament bouts would take on the card. Tim Sylvia was originally expected to face Pedro Rizzo in the main event on this card. However, a partial tear of his left triceps tendon forced Rizzo to withdraw from the bout. German MMA fighter Andreas Kraniotakes will step in as a replacement. Also on the card is the co-main event involving former UFC champion Andrei Arlovski taking on veteran of over 300 fights Travis Fulton. The Illinois athletic commission briefly did not approve Kraniotakes due to the lack of sanctioned fights on his pro record, but they ultimately allowed him to compete.
